L'Amore Restaurant is a family owned and operated neighborhood Italian restaurant located in the heart of Phoenix. We offer fine dining with a family atmosphere. We personally operate the restaurant being there to meet and greet each guest as if they were entering our own home. Here's a secret - we are told we have the best Cioppino in town. Enjoy the formal dining room, the friendly bar with great, live music Thursday - Saturday night, or sit in our beautiful tree-lined patio over-looking the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. We're happy to serve your every need. If you're on your way home, call us for a take-out dinner, or if you're thinking of a holiday party, set up an appointment to speak to us about our catering.

                                        We had a fantastic experience last night! The service was impeccable, the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice Italian neighborhood restaurant. We were very pleased with our food choices, from our appetizers, to our entrees to our desserts. Our server, Austin, was fabulous. He was very customer service oriented, knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were spot on. Thank you Austin! We look forward to returning soon.

                                        I will start by saying I did love the vibe. It was already decorated for Christmas and it was cozy. That being said I would never go back. I would be embarrased if I had cooked this meal myself. The sauce lacked any depth or flavor. Vegetables were naked without a hint of butter. The veal was TOUGH. No marsala to be found in the sauce. It tasted like a thin brown gravy out of a bottle. No black garlic to be found in my husbands pasta as was indicated. Wine list was disappointing. My husbands cocktail was OK, but definitely not worth what they charged. To top it off, our waiter was odd. I’m not sure how to describe him. He was a combination of confused and “don’t bother me”. I did enjoy the live music however. What was puzzling to me was the place was packed! I eat out and travel often so I’m not new to dining and I rarely give a negative review, but this dinner had me wishing for Amalfi or the Italiano or even Streets of New York to be honest.
