Perfection perfectly describes our experience at Ocean 44. Our server, Easton, was the highlight of the evening. He is so knowledgeable and professional yet very personable and engaging. We have actually requested he be our server when we visit in the future. His recommendations were spot-on. The food was delicious. The lobster and shrimp mac n cheese was the star of the show. I think it’s seasonal, so get it while you can. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had recently. Definitely not inexpensive but it is absolutely worth the cost.

Have not been to the Desert Botanical Garden for awhile but always try to enjoy a meal or at least a drink and snack at Gertrude's. They have expanded the menu, which was needed for those who frequent the restaurant. I had the Lamb Mole Enchiladas, which looked as fabulous as they tasted. The mole was perfect with a deep, savory chocolate sauce. My friend had the Lentil Chop that was beautifully plated with varying textures, very lightly dressed. The wait staff is experienced and gracious. We were fortunate to have a server who has been with the cafe since it opened. Book well in advance. Everyone loves this place.

Great dinner experience from beginning to end. Place is very packed, very busy, but we were seated immediately. Attentive staff, prompt water refills, table cleanliness was superb, appetizers and sides were amazing, not to mention the steak and seafood. Drink menu, specifically whiskey and scotch list, was top notch as well. Will definitely be utilizing this place for business or personal dinners whenever I'm back in town. The lavender infused hot towel at the end of the meal is a nice touch btw...

I was greeted warmly and led graciously to my table. After a short wait, the waitress made sure I got an order in before the end of happy hour. The food was so good. I love the ambience if the restaurant
