Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past. We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening. Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve revelled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour. Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion. Once again, an incredible experience! I came from DC to Toronto for a few days, and of course, I had to come back to Daphne to try the lunch menu and hopefully see your wonderful manager, Amanda. I had a busy day and decided to go to lunch alone. Luckily, Amanda was there! She remembered me, exactly what she recommended last visit, and which dishes were my favourite — her memory and intellect are truly impressive. Based on what I had already tried, my palette preferences, and hunger level, she recommended two dishes for me, the Tuna Carpaccio and the Tomato and Persimmon Salad. Both were fantastic and satisfied my mid-day cravings. I left feeling energized and satiated. Amanda also checked in on me throughout my meal, keeping me just enough company, which I really appreciated since I was dining alone. The way that she conducts herself showcases a high level of interpersonal skills and intuition as she initiated the perfect degree of conversation, which is quite rare. A lunch experience is seldom noteworthy, but somehow Amanda finds a way to make it so. Thanks again for a lovely meal! I’ll be back on Saturday to bring all my friends to try the delicious food and to meet Amanda!

The food was dependably good, especially the soup. I wish that they would bring back plain bread, even if there were a charge. Service is exceptional--friendly, attentive, and fast when you need it to be. Jerry has assembled a crack team.

Newly opened Greek Famous seafood restaurant. Very best in town. Cooking are good and delicious. Great selection of seafoods from around the world. Uses best ingredients to cook. Only setback is that they do not allow wine corkages! That’s a big deterrent for wine lovers! We don’t mind paying a fee to bring our favorite wine to enjoy with a good meal! Need improvement

I went to Aera ( in The Well ) with my sister who lives in BC and she wanted a rooftop with a good view. Aera is 38 stories and has an amazing view of downtown Toronto . We were at the Chef's counter and had a great views of the CN Tower. The host was great. She showed us two options for seating, where we were reserved and one more option. I had the mac and cheese which was delicious. They put mushroom and onion in it. And we each had a cocktail. I had the Amelia, I think it was called. It was tasty but quite small, that was the only thing. My sister's cocktail was a more reasonable size. The guys beside us had a cheeseburger and it looked so good! The service was great . They server was friendly and service was fairly quick . The restaurant is on the more pricey side and so are the drinks. But if you are looking for a great view of the city it's worth it. I definetly recommend and would go again.
