The beef was absolutely delicious as was everything else

Mae was certainly an interesting experience, though it started off on a disappointing note. Initially, we were seated at the far back of the ground floor in an area that felt more like a storage room. When we requested a better table, they moved us to the bar upstairs, which was a significant improvement—though that first table shouldn’t have been an option to begin with. The food was overall tasty, but our sides arrived so late that we were nearly finished with our mains, which was a bit of a letdown.

Nice atmosphere in Thomas Madden room ,the new table layout makes a pleasant improvement. The duck starter was tasty and very well presented as was the beef main course. AS for the dessert, how can you go wrong with apple crumble topped with a generous serving of ice cream !! Bliss. White wine very well priced and excellent value. As usual the serving staff were friendly and professional. We drive 80 Km to have lunch/dinner at the club which says it all
