Restaurants near Executive Pennyrile Inn

This was our second visit, and we really enjoyed ourselves. They have it decorated for Christmas and our waiter was outstanding. We will be going back, and reservations are recommended to avoid a long wait. We had reservations both times.

The Mixer offers Southern cuisine with an elevated, sophisticated twist, and it does not disappoint. As a native of Hopkinsville, KY, their bourbon cocktail was a nostalgic delight—it truly felt like a taste of home. The star of the evening, however, was the trout dish. Cooked to perfection, it was topped with a white wine sauce that was simply chef’s kiss. The balance of flavors showcased both creativity and respect for Southern traditions. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort food with a touch of elegance, The Mixer is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Strawberry Alley is our favorite restaurant!! We just moved to the area and could not be happier that we’ve found this place!! The Food is the absolute greatest, has very unique, tasteful flavors that are better than any other restaurant we’ve been to! The Chicken Bacon Mac n cheese is unlike any other Mac n cheese I’ve had! Phenomenal! Atmosphere is amazing and the staff is so kind and welcoming!! They have light music playing and soft lighting so it tied the ambiance together!

Food was good, service was a bit lacking. Had to get my own salt and pepper and had to ask for items that should have been a no brainer. Table beside us was dirty (dishes/glasses) when we sat down and continued that way until we left. Server was not very knowledgeable of the menu of cocktail menu.
