- CCarolvipHawaii •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoRoy’s is continuing to work on their menu. New items that are delicious include the shrimp appetizer and the special of the evening which was a delicious steak with little fingerling potatoes made into potato chips. The Romain salad seemed particularly fresh and wonderful last night. The salmon is a favorite of mine and it also seem to be especially good. So nice to see they are keeping up the good work .More infoRoy's Waikoloa Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikoloa•4.5
- TTimVancouver / British Columbia •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were tired from touristing and arrived early for our reservation but they were able to seat us right away. Not on the patio sadly. I have no idea how you get a table there. Server was very good and attentive, and the food was great. We shared the spring rolls I had the ribs. Given it’s $32 for 6 and only $39 for 12, I went for the full rack so to have leftovers for tomorrow’s dinner (eating out in Hawaii is NOT cheap. We only go out ever 2-3 nights) My wife had the prawn spaghetti squash dish which also is a generous portion and had some leftovers No room for dessert. Fairly efficient, I think we were out of there in an hour.More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.8
- KKevinSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoCanoe House has been one of our favorites on the Island for several years. It is a perfect location for sunset dinners and an outstanding dining experience. Again, they did not disappoint. Highlights were perfectly done filet, swordfish and kampachi with garlic fried rice as a side. Wonderful flavors, well balanced, and perfect portions. Starters were corn ribs (a favorite ) and snap peas with goat cheese. Prices are at the higher end, but the value is spot on. We always try and eat here once during our trips to the island.More infoCanoeHousePrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Kamuela•4.7
- JJimHawaii •16 reviews4.0Dined on 9 Nov 2024Had a nice meal but the environment is much more bar’ish than fine dining. Nice staff, great local artist for live music, food was delicious and perfectly prepared. They charge a fee for Credit cards which I don’t agree with personally so that knocks them down a bit even though it’s only a few bucks… it adds up in the overall experience.More infoMauka Bar and GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Waikoloa•4.5
