My family and I came here for a birthday dinner. The vibe is amazing!!! We loved the wax figures in the mix!!! Fun pictures to take! Staff is exceptional and attentive. The food was pretty delicious. We ordered two skirt steak dinners, mushroom gnocchi, chicken, and pretzel bites. The drinks were on point too! Our favorite was definitely the skirt steak!!! Gnocchi was good, but just a bit mushy. We like ours more al dente. The chicken needed a sauce so my husband used the mustard from the pretzels and that made it perfect! My son enjoyed the pretzels with cheese. Definitely a hidden gem and will be back. Oh, and I must say, the birthday celebration for our family was really cool!!! They brought him a card signed by all the staff!!! Never has a restaurant done that before so it was a very nice touch. Not to mention the most delicious pumpkin pie cheesecake to share with each other!! Thank you!!!

Great experience overall, seats were fantastic they listened to my request and had the exact seats i had asked for before arriving, food was decent but the drinks were a little on the weaker side for the price, the performer was great and definitely added to the experience.

Great visit and Brian was a great server and looked after us very well.

To dine at Musso & Frank’s Grill is to have an experience like no other in LA: old world style, dishes that have long since disappeared from the menus of any other of its competitors and the pleasure of knowing that one is dining in a space that has probably catered for virtually every great name ever to have graced Hollywood in the course of the past century. Look beyond the cheap and tawdry pseudo glamour of the rest of the Hollywood strip and allow yourself the pleasure of an authentic experience you will never forget, long after the memory of all the dross of the surrounding razzmatazz has faded into oblivion. Worth every penny twice over.

Shirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.
