- JJamesSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGar Woods was crawling with tons of folks looking to spend a great Thanksgiving with a great meal and good friends. For as jam packed as they were, the staff kept everything moving as smoothly as possible, which was an incredible feat! The menu was a choice of Thanksgiving Turkey or Thanksgiving ha plus you could order off of their normal Dinner menu if you preferred. Most of my group had the Turkey and it came out piping hot, covered with gravy, mashed potatoes, white and dark meat, dressing, cranberry sauce, and asparagus tips . . a feast for the eyes and stomach . . followed by apple pie and ice cream. An incredibly joyous and memorable evening. Gar Woods never fails to deliver and deliver it did. Lots of smiling faces that night!More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.7
- MMikevipTahoe / Reno Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLe Bistro has been our favorite Tahoe restaurant for 25 years. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary there, and had yet another fantastic dinner. We were greeted quickly, taken to a quiet booth, and received great friendly service throughout the evening. Our food was outstanding, starting with the Napolean of Ahi with wonderful flavors and textures, followed by very flavorful soups, incredibly tender steaks cooked to perfection, and the not-to-be-missed dessert plate with portions of four different desserts. Extra touches like tasty starter bites, homemade bread, and crispy and airy soufflé potatoes were included. Every aspect of our experience was top-notch. Thank you to the entire Le Bistro team for making our anniversary so enjoyable and memorable!More infoLe Bistro TahoePrice: Very Expensive• French American• Incline Village•4.7

- LLeslievipSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024It was my husband’s birthday and we have been trying to get in for a while. It is well worth the wait! I am a horrible food snob and the food and service was transcendent, truly! We were born and raised in SF but had not been to Saison. Tyler Burges has a really unique vision for food and service it is perfectly executed here and we soo appreciate it! Our server was lovely and everyone else was as well! As an aside, we had returned from Italy the month prior and we really noticed the service and the pride that Italians feel with their jobs and it felt like we were transported to another country at Smokedoor. The aesthetics are gorgeous also! We did the 6 course menu and the only thing I didn’t love was the pork belly (but I never like pork belly- lol)! We will definitely be back.More infoSmoke Door - Lake Tahoe SaryoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Kings Beach•4.9
- KKatieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024The baked Brie with mushrooms was amazing and so were the crab cakes! Everything we had was delicious but definitely loved these two dishes the best. It’s a pretty small place and was a little noisy but food was delicious so we didn’t mind the noise too much. Will definitely go back again!More infoFumoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Incline Village•4.2
