I highly recommend the Dining Room at The Village Lodge at Sugarbowl. It was wonderful experience all around. The chef was able to accommodate our various dietary restrictions, including gluten free and dairy free plus our food allergies. It is so nice to be able to dine out on Michelin Star quality food right here in the Truckee area.

The mushroom ‘scallops’ was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. I haven’t been back to the lodge in over a year but they have a new, more Interesting menu and I plan to be back to try all of the other menu items soon. The problem is that I will want the delicious mushroom dish again. If you haven’t been there in a while, it is definitely worth the trip to give it another try.

We had not been to the Boomtown Steakhouse for a few years and we were very surprised. The food was excellent, prepared and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was excellent. He. was prompt with our meals and checked back with us to see how we were doing. We had an excellent experience.

This place was phenomenal! Blew our expectations out of the water. Will definitely go back!
