Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org. Bar Chelou is a neo-bistro that is both a distillation of Chef Doug Rankin's broad gastronomic interests and a deeply personal expression of his individualistic style.     We had a fantastic Valentine's Day lunch. Eric, our server, made our afternoon very enjoyable. He was a pleasure and very attentive to our needs. We were among the first guests for the day and what I noticed was that as staff was arriving they were genuinely happy to see each other. That is important because that is projected on to the customers also. It was easy to tell that they enjoyed their work, and they came together as a team to make our afternoon most enjoyable.

    Our server, Yasmine, was absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I look forward to tea at the Huntington Library every time, but it was made significantly better having Yasmine. She was so attentive and personable; it felt like she was celebrating with us. The food was delicious! Some standouts were the Lamb sandwich, the cucumber, and the truffle mushroom (an accommodation for my friend’s shellfish allergy). We’ve tried many teas across LA, but the Huntington’s is #1.

    It was a wonderful dining experience! Our servers assistant was amazing! They made our meal out of this world!!! My filet was PERFECTLY cooked! And all the sides were great!! I was more than pleased to celebrate my fiancés birthday and our 12th year anniversary!
