Tucked into Central Park, Tavern on the Green was the perfect holiday experience to round out our Christmas in NYC trip! Cozy and festive decor paired with impeccable service and delectable food makes this a “must try” for anyone looking to soak in the magic that is Christmas in New York! I highly recommend the honey roasted fig appetizer and the pan seared scallop entree.

Live music on Sunday was such a welcome addition to our meal! Unfortunately, if you’re seated in the smaller, more quiet room, you won’t be able to appreciate the band so choose wisely!

Enoteca Harlem is an absolute gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, the warm, inviting ambiance set the stage for the evening. We started with their tapas. The croquetas were crispy on the outside, with a creamy, flavorful filling that melted in your mouth. The chorizo omelet was packed with hearty chunks of quality chorizo and perfectly cooked. The scallop tapas were perfectly seasoned and wrapped in a deliciously crispy pastry—yum! But the star of the evening was undoubtedly their seafood paella. The rice was infused with rich saffron and seafood stock, perfectly cooked, and generous portions of fresh shellfish. The crispy socarrat (the caramelized rice at the bottom of the pan) was an extra level of delicious! The cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The red sangria has a nice spice, but it is definitely on the sweet side! The service was impeccable. The owner, Marco, is welcoming and clearly passionate about quality food, beverages, and dining ambiance. Whether you love tapas, seafood, or just incredible food, this spot is not to be missed.

Terrific food — grilled kale salad, chicken Marsala, sorbets were standouts — and great cocktails (especially the hibiscus cocktail and mocktail and the Makers Mark Highball) in a warm, intimate setting. Service was outstanding and the mood is happy and relaxed.

We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The maitre d’hotel was attentive and charming. The servers friendly, professional and efficient. The food made us feel as though we were back in France. DELICIOUS. The venue was a delight. The superb live jazz band was the icing on the cake. We highly recommend Maison Harlem
