How on earth could this restaurant not be at the top of the Michelin Guide list for Houston. No place around here can be better!

We went for the Christmas buffet. When we walked in, we were a bit disappointed at the amount of food available. But we quickly realized, they were actually cooking and bringing out limited quantities at a time so the food was always hot, fresh and never had a chance to be overly done by sitting out at the buffet too long. The filet was the best I've ever had. The salmon was spectacular. And I loved the sweet potato pie for dessert. Overall a fantastic meal!

It’s a feast that feels both indulgent and exciting! That said, we did notice an unexpected price increase for the Christmas Eve dinner. There was a $30 holiday upcharge that we weren’t aware of beforehand. While the food and experience were worth it, a heads-up about the holiday pricing would have been appreciated. Overall, Chama Gaucha remains a top choice for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. Great food, fantastic service, and an enjoyable atmosphere make it well worth a visit!
