The Longest Standing Restaurant In Greektown, DetroitBrothers Niko and Vasili Dionysopoulos came to America in the late 60’s. They started by selling produce to the Greek churches and then to the businesses in Greektown. They opened Apollo Market on Harper Ave in 1968 till 1970. Then they purchased the Golden Fleece on April 7th 1970. They worked ’till the late 2000’s. Their sons Spero and Yanni took over the family business and remodeled the building and concept after 50 years to continue to give Metro Detroit the authentic Greek experience and hospitality. Always a favorite for us for special occasions. Ross was our waiter and he did a fantastic job, some of the food ( sushi ), didn’t come out at the same time ( no biggee for us ), Ross handled it like a pro! Thanks as always for a great evening.

Had an amazing dinner with friends and have to meet Zoy and his staff. Will definitely be back!! Bar needs to have Lucero maraschino cherries for old fashion drinks and stuffed blue cheese olives for Dirty Martinis.

My wife and I went on a Thursday evening. It was quiet. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and we can't wait to come back when there's live music. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the ribeye and lobster and she had the duck. We both were pleased. Looking forward to our next meal here.
