The ingredients were top quality and the flavors were complex and well balanced. The sauce in the fesenjan, with its combination of walnuts, pomegranate molasses and spices, reminded me of the very finest Mexican moles that simmer for hours, melding together the ingredients into a perfect, comforting stew.
