- MMarkSt. Louis •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoTony's was a wonderful experience with absolutely superb food. Probably the best steak I have had in a restaurant in more than 20 years, and the sides were just excellent. Our only complaint was the large group behind us, appeared to be like a bunch of kids coming from a prom or some dance. Horribly loud; we complained and Tony's spoke to them which helped for a while, but soon the noise level was so bad she had to practically shout to be heard across the table. A big issue was the loud group was backed into an alcove with mainly brick walls, so all the sound kept being reflected off the brick and back toward our table. However we were having dinner with long-not-seen old friends, and with the fantastic food, even the noise level did not spoil our night at Tony's. Will I go back? In a flash with no concerns. You simply can't avoid loud jerks all the time! And you can't get better food/steaks in a very nice ambiance. Only real complaint - Tony's needs a better/larger parking lot.More infoTony's Steakhouse & BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Alton, Illinois•4.7
- NNoahSt. Louis •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoAn absolutely perfect evening at Charlie Gitto’s!! We were immediately greeted with fresh bread and water and overall, the service was attentive and fabulous. Our server Talitha (I cannot for the life of me remember her name exactly 😂) was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable and gave plenty of insight on different dishes. For an appetizer, we tried the toasted ravioli which was truly heavenly. For our entrees, I ordered the lobster spaghetti special which was incredible and my partner ordered the seafood pasta. Overall, the experience was amazing and we will be returning.More infoCharlie Gitto's 'On the Hill'Price: Expensive• Italian• The Hill•4.8
- TThomasMiami - Dade •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024Trout is always a go-to, and recommended it for my friend. I tried the braised beef and thought it was fabulous. Escargot still remains the best in town, and the gougeres are addictive. Still my favorite STL spot for a nice evening out since moving out of town.More infoBrasserie by NichePrice: Moderate• French• St. Louis•4.8
- MMicheleSt. Louis •3 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Great restaurant. Very clean and the staff was fantastic. They knew what we needed before we even had a chance to ask for it. The sticky cauliflower is amazing. The scallops and the fish and chips were fantastic. All the breading on the food items was light and crunchy (exactly how fried items should be enjoyed). The mac and cheese is probably the best I've ever had. And well the beef wellington needs no introduction. Great place with even better food.More infoRamsay's KitchenPrice: Expensive• American• St. Louis•4.5
