Great service. Food good as ever and cocktails deserve a special mention! Going early at lunchtime worth it as staff have a bit more time to provide even better service.

A very good early Christmas lunch - although we realised on looking at the menu when we returned home that the included veggies never appeared!

Every course of the tasting menu had the wow factor! Service was first class and partner feel very special on her special birthday!

It was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.

Lovely restuarant in what looks like a medieval hall. Asparagus starter followed with venison Wellington. Cheese to finish. Nice bottle of Fleurie. Drinks outside to start. Highly recommended.
