On a short holiday getaway in Vero Beach we tried Trattoria Dario for dinner on 12/26. The atmosphere was festive and the restaurant was busy. Service was efficient and friendly. Our food was excellent. We’ll go again next time we’re in Vero. Great find!

We came for Christmas Eve dinner at 2pm hoping to enjoy the duck but were told that only lunch menu was available. No matter there were sufficient choices for us to enjoy. We both started with specialty drinks and crab cake then I enjoyed the salmon and Daniel enjoyed the skirt steak. We shared the key lime Pie some cappuccino with sambuca all while enjoying an ocean front view. Life does not get any better than this. Can’t wait to come back.

Food and atmosphere were authentically French. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Just did not like the older French waitress ignoring me (wife) while just asking my husband about his wishes. Yes, men often pay the bill but you never know…!
