Restaurants near Baxter House

This was an awesome restaurant. One of the better causal dining experiences I've had. The food was outstanding. Would 1000% recommend if you are in or around Maine. Will definitely be returning when I'm back in town.

Whenever my husband and I want a special night out we always go to Isa and they never disappoint. I didn’t think they could up their game but I had steak with a whiskey cream sauce and it truly was the best meal I can recall. This place is perfection…from the service,the atmosphere,and the food…simply sublime. Bravo Isa! Please don’t ever change.

The service was excellent, the waitress was informed friendly and responsive. The pizza was wonderful, obviously made from very high-quality ingredients. The fish and chips were very tasty and the Panini sandwich was also very very good. 

A genuinely excellent Italian dining experience in Portland Maine's Old Port. The focus on locally sourced ingredients makes a big difference. The chef (from Genova) makes the most of the local fresh seafood. Service was perhaps the best we have had in Portland, which is a pretty high bar, but still, better here.

Great experience, everyone enjoyed their food. We did not book the hibachi however we could see it from where we were seated may want to try that next time!
