I stumbled on this place accidentally when the place I usually go to in Brookline was relatively booked, and I’m so glad I did! The food is outstanding, the cocktail, sublime, and the weight staff were friendly and extremely efficient. This is a gem of a place, not too big so you can have a nice conversation while you are enjoying the delicious food, I will be back!

Ordered lamb and arrived in a timely manner. However, it was overcooked and tough. We mentioned to server and they brought us a new plate of lamb which was a thousands times better-appearance and taste And they removed from bill. My question is why did they serve the first dish which looked like it was left over from the previous night. We will not be back. Food value was way overpriced.

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish! We had a group of 11 of all ages and everyone thought the staff, service, food and atmosphere were all fabulous!

Consistently delicious food and welcoming ambience. Service was impeccable and warm. There are good reasons why it’s hard to get a reservation! So grateful we were able to start the year off there!

This has been our family's favored Boston restaurant for holiday dinners over the past five years, and the interior seasonal decor was perfect as usual. The service we received earlier this week was magnificent, and the food, as always, was outstanding. Our family ordered beef, chicken and fish entrees, and they were all exquisitely prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. Special kudos to Mac, our waiter, who was one of the best fine dining servers that we've ever had the pleasure to meet, as he deftly handled the late arrival of one of our party's members, as well as the necessary considerations relating to my wife's seafood allergies. Spectacular cocktails and desserts were the icing on the cake. There's little doubt that our family will be returning to Grille 23 & Bar in 2025.
