Fantastic! Love this place, and embarrassed i am just now leaving a review. Love the Valet; from the start - its an easy evening, downtown. The martini's and oysters were so awesome, we went round 2 on those! (oysters only). Then, my wife had the beef wellington and a chopped salad, while I had the grouper. The wine list is fantastic, and to wrap this up - ya'll, the post dinner mints. I know, its minor, the complimentary mints. Whelp, they good too! REAL GOOD! The evening starts easy/ends with Valet and a mint!

We are visiting Memphis and wanted to experience Beale Street. Itta Bena was fabulous. Our server, John was informative, funny and professional. He recommended a few other restaurants and sights to see. My husband had the Shrimp and grits, delicious! I had stuffed chicken. I subbed green beans for spinach. Wow! The flavors all played against one another..... So savory.

This place never disappoints it’s our favorite for date night or any celebration! The variety of meats are always fresh and cooked to your liking…and the salad bar alone is always a treat!!

It was my husband and I's first experience at Amelia Gene. It was our anniversary and I looked up best place to eat in Memphis and AG comes up on top. For good reason. From the valet parking to ambience and food service, everything was amazing. Our server was fantastic, with great attention to detail. The restaurant was packed but not noisy. And you don't feel like you have to wait long or in a rush to eat and go. They subtly left us a card on the table to wish us Happy Anniversary and gave us a compliment glass of champagne each. There was also a complimentary amuse bouche from the kitchen and it was delicious. We ordered lemon arancini, oyster, octopus salad, steak tartare, pappardelle with lamb jus and a aged dry steak and everything was wonderful. but the highlight of the evening were the dessert. The salted caramel creme brulee was to die for but the carrot cake. Oh, the carrot cake was just divine. Paired with the best espresso martini, we left the place happy and full.

Excellent experience. We changed out reservation time without difficulty. Great service, food Excellent, great experience overall
