Excellent food. Above average price but the quality of food is top-notch!

Food was really good. I love octopus and my wife enjoyed the gambas. Service was attentive, ambience was casual and great. Just became a bit loud when tables were filled. Only odd part was we were reminded that there was a 2 hr limit, and were given 7 minutes to settle. We were not allowed to order our desserts or even complete the meal with dessert takeout of the chocolate cubes. The tables with 2 and 4 guests who had later reservations, actually received their entrees ahead of us, yet we were rushed. We were a party of 3 only, my wife and I ordered salads. My niece’s order was the tuna on risotto. Was it because we were behind the wall, unseen, or I asked for more bread? I’ll still return when I’m back in Berlin, hopefully in more relaxed conditions.

I had a lovely time at Restaurant Patrice. The wait stuff was welcoming and efficient and the place is really cozy and sweet. The food was lovely. A couple of minor improvement points to food and experience: 1) while the oysters were deliciously freshed, I was disappointed that they were not fully schucked (i.e. removed from the inner clam). 2) they had a special asparagus-only menu; then when i asked for the other items, the waitress had to read them all out to me.... seemed odd to not have another version of the menu. 3) steak was cooked to perfection, but lacked seasoning - this was improved with the side of jous - so keep that in mind. All in all a pleasant place, and I'd be back if i'm around the area.
