Absolutely wonderful meal. Great selection of dishes, well prepared and great ingredients. The beet salad was fantastic. Has simple gnocchi with truffle butter and it was perfectly made. Many other great dishes at our table. Desserts also fantastic and good wine list. Frankly, best restaurant in Davis.

If you are looking for a great dining experience in Davis, Hikari is the place to go. The chef and his team are passionate about their work. They go out of their way to get the best ingredients and pay minute attention to every detail. One thing I have not commented in the past is the team's devotion to sustainability. In the words of chef Tun "nothing goes to waste". This was my 10th Omakase dinner at Hikari and it was just as memorable as the first.

Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing fresh, bold flavors with a perfect balance of creativity and authenticity. The service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly valued. The house-made pasta and the wood-fired dishes were standouts, paired beautifully with an exceptional wine list. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking an elevated yet approachable culinary journey in Napa. Can’t wait to return!

Nice atmosphere, dinner was good, arrived fast. Rather pricey, so not the best value. But good. We would return.

A cozy restaurant that's a Davis staple. Enthusiastic service and delicious food. Enjoyed the tomato bisque with puff pastry, salad of greens with light dressing and crab cakes. A delightful, unique spot.
