Restaurants near Big Lake Park

I had the pasta dish with chicken that was wonderful. My husband had one of his favorite dishes, the filet of sole with crabmeat that is always cooked perfectly. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Bordeaux. Pascal and his staff provide excellent service every time we dine there.

Kudos to Kevin our waiter who made everything go smoothly. Love this restaurant but have had issues getting my steak cooked properly. Kevin and I had a discussion, he communicated it perfectly to the kitchen and one of the best steaks ever resulted. My wife and Son raved about their meal also. Fields is back at the top of my steakhouse list

The owner is what makes this restaurant unique. He has assembled an outstanding group of people who work harmoniously to make this restaurant the treasure it is today. I have known this man for about 25 years and have always enjoyed eating at his restaurants. The atmosphere here is friendly, inviting, and casual. If you haven't eaten at Texas, give it a try. I'm sure you'll find it most enjoyable.

First time visit here. Brunch offerings were routine but done well. The candied bacon is a real treat, especially in the Bloody Mary! Our server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.

I highly recommend this place for the atmosphere and the food. The patio space is great.
