We celebrated our anniversary there and it exceeded all expectations! Sasha our waitress made great explanation, recommendations and even gave us a tour of the building after! It’s Ana amazing piece of heritage and history of Calgary with a cool vibe! Casual but also makes you feel special! Highly recommend Bx can’t wait to bring more friends to share this special place with!

Valentine’s Day - we had a great evening. The food and service was amazing. Even though the place was packed we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks and food. They had a valentine card signed by the staff at each table which was a nice touch! I recommend!!!!

***We had the Beef & it was melt in your mouth, soft & juicy. The veggies looked good on a plate but the carrots were undercooked & the other veggies consisted of broccolini which I thought was great but my wife didn't eat hers, the peppers were ok and again she didn't eat hers then there was what I think was zucchini again I ate mine but my wife didn't eat hers, the potatoes were good but slightly salty, we both ate & enjoyed the beef & the potatoes. I thought the desert was very good but again my wife didn't eat more than one bite of hers & I was blessed with 2 deserts.

The service was amazing. The atmosphere was great, they had a variety of music playing and it wasn’t stupidly loud! Our server was super awesome! I also assume it was the manager who came around and asked us how the evening was and gave us valentines dad joke cards which were super cool! The food was delicious and with it being valentines the wait for the food wasn’t long. Overall it was a great time and I look forward to going back again!

Firstly, our compliments to the chef. I feel this person tries harder than most, and the palate is rewarded for that effort. Not fond of dining in Calgary usually but Lake House is a special exception. Cuisine and overall experience, ambience, our server, welcoming hosts make this a place we want to come back to.
