Restaurants near Big Sur River Inn

The Brussels sprouts with apples was outstanding as was the Dover Sole. Michael, our waiter, was very friendly and helpful.

Tuna Melt and tortilla soup were wonderful as was the service! Wonderful views, special spot!

Great food and amazing views! Stayed at the hotel and it made it so easy to get a great meal so close and cocktails were also amazing!

We had the pleasure of dining at Mickey’s Place during the retrofitting of Sierra Mar. As always, the service was fabulous! The menu was limited as could be expected for an interim facility, but the food was very good and we had a chance to explore a part of the Post Ranch property that we hadn’t before! Looking forward to experiencing the newly renovated Sierra Mar later on in the year!

Chef quality preparation, interesting menu, lots of fresh local produce. Very reasonable breakfast and lunch prices, dinner is fancier BUT you can make a less expensive meal of the small plates (I loved the generous steak skewers with chimichuri sauce!) or visit during happy hour!
