- OTOpenTable DinerVermont •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoRoots is that place you never are wrong for going to. The food and drinks are not only amazing, but insanely consistent every single time. The staff are inviting, knowledgeable, and simply on top of their game every single day. As someone who has travelled far and wide, Roots should be on everyone’s list of go-to’s. In terms of restaurants in the greater Rutland area, this should always be a first choice on anyone’s list.More infoRoots The RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Rutland•4.6
- RROBERTTampa / Central Florida West •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoWe’ve had some inconsistent experiences at the River. Really enjoyed it when they first opened, awesome chicken wings app (large sized pieces), good clean food. Seemed like it went downhill after Covid, trouble finding good/experienced staff, food was disappointing. Our food was much better this time, burgers cooked as ordered, fries weren’t greasy/soggy, and our server seemed knowledgeable. Gripes: the salmon dish is underwhelming for the price, the rice that came with it was bland. Also the desserts were mediocre, cheesecake and mousse layer cake were cold and the cheesecake didn’t seem homemade. Overall, though, better than previous recent visits, and hopefully things are on the upswing!More infoRiver Pub & GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Brandon•4.4
- MMatthewPhiladelphia County •32 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024We ate at the Dorset Inn restaurant several times, as we were staying there. Service is always very attentive. Reservations are honored in a timely fashion. Burgers, pastas, salads, specials, etc. were all excellent. The dining room and the pub can be a little more noisy than the large cozy dining room. You can eat at the bar. There’s a nice roaring fireplace in the pub area as well.More infoDorset InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Dorset•4.7
- TTriciavipNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024The food at Barrows House is consistently amazing. Tonight we had mallard duck (fantastic), scallops with risotto, salmon and the delicious tuna poke nachos to start. Because it was a Monday in stick season, the restaurant volume was quiet. A lovely change. It’s usually bustling and loud which isn’t bad, just different. Thanks to the Barrows House staff for a great evening. Highly recommend.More infoBarrows HousePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Dorset•4.6
