Restaurants near Black River County Park

We got seated a little later than our reservation but the Tomahawk Chops and the Sea Bass over shadowed that. The food was EXCELLENT!!! We will go back…again and again!

Our service was wonderful. Enjoyed the view of Lake Wissota. The broiled fish was very good. The salad bar is excellent.

Food and portions were amazing! So glad we got the soup and salad as our appetizer, the French Onion and Lobster Bisque were so savory. Our mains were the Ribeye and Filet cooked perfectly medium rare. We got 3 sides al la carte, and we could have just got one. The portions say for two but they could definitely feed 3-4 if you have the soups or appetizers before. My only criticism was there weren't any prices marked by the cocktails and the brussel sprouts could have been cooked a little longer to get a better crisp.

If you sit away from the bar, it's chill and the food is good. However, I took a star away because the place smelled like plug-in vanilla scented air fresheners, which is both totally gross to smell while you're eating in addition to being migraine-inducing. Be careful if you're sensitive to fragrance.

Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Boston cranberry tea and coffee excellent. The coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi were good. Some items were not as good; the mashed potato side was bland and could have included a pat of butter or something to add flavor.
