- LLindaCharlotte •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe all enjoyed our entrees (lunch): seafood platter, grilled fish sandwich, smothered burger. The fried pickles and okra were a great way to start the meal. Service was fast and our waitress was very attentive.More infoPort of Call - Food & BrewPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.7

- HHarryCincinnati / Dayton •11 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhen you make a reservation at establishment like this, you expect the food to be good. It was. It was excellent. Now here are the small things. The ambience is outstanding. The server was extremely knowledgeable. Everything that we had came together like a symphony. The manager came to the table and offered us a glass of cava for our anniversary The price point equates to the quality of the food. From The service to the ambience this restaurant gets it and as a former restaurant owner, I appreciate the fact that they not only put out great food. They paid attention to all of the small details. More infoThe EstablishmentPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Downtown Charleston•4.8
- BBethSouth Carolina •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe absolutely love dinning at the Oak Steakhouse! The staff are very friendly and attentive from setting us at a fabulous table for our date night. Drinks came quickly and they make a perfect French Martini! The oysters were great. We also ordered yummy cornbread with a taste of jalapeño. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon with whipped potatoes and both were outstanding. We definitely will dine again! Thank-you!More infoOak Steakhouse - CharlestonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown Charleston•4.7
- SBSarahBWest Palm Beach •6 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Oct 2024Let me start by saying Mike is an incredible host, server, chef, and historian. This was a one of a kind experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in Charleston. While it is not a conventional restaurant, Mike takes you on a culinary journey of 18th and 19th century low country cuisine, keeping things as authentic as possible while still appealing to our modern palates. Each dish was carefully crafted and thoughtfully prepared. The table was full of strangers, but we all got to chat and listen to Mike’s wonderful presentation of Charleston history to go along with each dish. Our specific meal was centered around Legacy families of Charleston, so we enjoyed dishes each family would have also enjoyed. Mike deserves all of the attention and reservations he can handle. As he says, he’s one of Charleston’s best kept secrets, and I believe that to be true because I had a fantastic experience.More infoHistoric Charleston Supper ClubPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown Charleston•4.6
