- KKateVIPNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024My mother-in-law spent hours researching spots for a holiday gift card/surprise family dinner and landed on Piccola Cucina. The unassuming Casa is tucked away on a quiet street we might not have otherwise noticed, but you are greeted with warmth the moment you open the door. From the cozy lighting, to the gentleman making fresh pasta at the bar, to the friendly staff, it was Nona’s homey perfection from start to finish. Our server Cynthia offered great menu and wine guidance as we attempted to taste it all. The prices are very reasonable versus portion size. Octopus, Branzino, Gnocchi, and Osso Bucco Agnolotti were standouts. Can’t wait to be back!More infoPiccola Cucina CasaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Boerum Hill•4.9
- SShereseNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024We did the $45 pre-fixe menu and it was a great value. The food was quite delicious and the service was attentive and hospitable. Loved the poached egg with mushrooms and spinach appetizer! It was flavorful. I could eat that everyday. Will definitely be back again.More infoBacchusPrice: Moderate• French• Boerum Hill•4.4
- BBonnieVIPNew York City •38 reviews4.0Dined on 21 Dec 2024The chips and salsa were TOO good. The margaritas were nice, some very interesting. I lived in Oaxaca for two summers and was looking forward to authentic chicken mole. I was somewhat disappointed: the flavor was excellent but, unlike in Oaxaca, the chicken was cooked separately and the sauce added when the dish was served. The chicken was overcooked and did not have an infusion of mole flavor. My dinner companions enjoyed their enchiladas and tacos. I tasted and did not find them to be as good as in Mexico. We ordered flan and tres leches. Both were too sweet for my taste. The flan was coffee flavored and was missing the slightly bitter bite of caramelized sugar.More infoRuta Oaxaca - BrooklynPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Cobble Hill•4.7
- EElaineGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Nov 2024Very cozy and comfortable dining experience on a chilly, late November evening. Enjoyed sitting at the bar - the bar tender was attentive and flexible with my order. Appreciated her! The brick oven roasted half chicken and Mediterranean salad was exceptional! Hated to take the last bite! Will return soon.More infoBijan's BrooklynPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown Brooklyn•4.4
