- JJenniferVIPSan Diego •20 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a delicious meal and great service at Cafe Royal. Our only disappointment was that they were out of oysters….which was one of the main reasons for going there! Apparently they ran out because of new years. We hope to come back to Edinburgh another time and will try again.More infoCafe Royal - EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Continental• Edinburgh•4.3
- JJoEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI love this restaurant. It has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It feels bright, spacious and welcoming when you go in. The food is excellent. Today I had the Hoots Mon Benny, which was absolutely delicious. The best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. There was a good choice of gluten free options for my husband too. The only thing I would mention as a slight minus is that the restaurant has a "dog friendly" policy, which is becoming increasingly common in all sorts of places now. This doesn't take account of people with a fear of dogs, and those who simply think dogs don't belong in food establishments.More infoLoudons New WaverleyPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Edinburgh•4.5
- RRafaelChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024Tourist here. Amazing pizza and really cool and kind staff. The pizza is Neapolitan style, so thin crust pizza about 10 to 12 inches in diameter. If you are a light eater, 1 pizza and an appetizer is enough for 2 people. In the words of our server, "if you are hungry or tall", you should look to order the pizza for just yourself as they are not very big but imo, they are filling. My wife and I ordered two pizzas and had quite a bit left over. We are, however, short and not big eaters. Heh. Great place, highly recommend.More infoPizza PostoPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Edinburgh•4.6
- AALBERTOEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024My partner and I visited The Black Grape on Christmas Eve and had the pleasure of trying their festive menu. It was an unforgettable experience! The attention was absolutely wonderful; the staff was incredibly kind and attentive at all times, creating a warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere. Coming from Spain, we were excited to try something new, and the festive menu exceeded all our expectations. Every dish was a delightful surprise, full of unique flavors that were completely different from what we're used to back home. Each bite was crafted with care and truly captured the spirit of the season. If you're looking for excellent food and top-notch service, especially during the holidays, The Black Grape is the place to go. Highly recommended!More infoThe Black GrapePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• The Royal Mile•4.8
