- FFrankNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOn December 28th, 2024 we had an excellent dinner at The Washington Inn. My wife had roasted wild mushroom soup, baked escargot, and the colors of the garden salad. I had 2 oysters and seafood cioppino. For dessert we shared Bananas Foster. All the food was excellent along with the service. This restaurant exudes old time Cape May quality and I am sorry we have not dined here more often. The bill came to $150 including tip.More infoWashington InnPrice: Expensive• American• Cape May•4.8
- TTimNew Jersey •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAlways love to have breakfast at the Blue Pig when we visit Cape May. Their Eggs Blackstone is a unique take on Eggs Benny with their perfectly poached eggs are placed on delicious cheddar biscuits with sautéed spinach and crispy bacon covered in hollandaise sauce and sprinkled with black pepper. It is delicious and I have not found this dish anywhere else. The setting is always great inside the iconic Congress Hall where several U.S. Presidents have stayed. A must stop if you come to Cape May.More infoThe Blue Pig TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Cape May•4.6
- MMargePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoCelebrating Christmas Day at Sapore was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant was very busy. We were seated immediately and the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We ordered from the specials for the day menu. The creamy chicken soup was delicious and the perfect temperature. The salad with cheese and olives was exceptional. I ordered the fish with crab, artichokes and grape tomatoes. My husband ordered the pasta with shrimp and scallops. Both were absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The cheesecake and tiramisu were exceptional! Our waitress was the best ever! We will definitely return!More infoSapore ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Cape May•4.7
- KKathyVIPBaltimore / Maryland •69 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe chose The Ebbitt Room to celebrate Christmas! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. We had the king salmon, the cioppino and the lamb shank. All 3 entrees were very flavorful and nicely plated. For dessert we shared the donuts and cinnamon ice cream. Both were enjoyable. The Ebbitt Room is one of Cape May’s finest restaurants!More infoThe Ebbitt Room at the VirginiaPrice: Very Expensive• American• Cape May•4.7
- CCatherineKey West / Florida Keys •9 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Small intimate dinning room in the Washington pedestrian mall. Professional, friendly & attentive staff. Attractively decorated for the holiday while still maintaining elegance. It is BYOB. The New England Clam Chowder was flavorful with generous amount of clams. Husband had grilled polenta with broccoli rabe & fresh shaved Pecorino Romano cheese “like Mom used to make.” I couldn’t finish my seafood risotto. So generous was the portion of local shrimp, scallops & clams though I tried ! Husband had Shrimp & Salmon with mash potatoes in chili sauce. Delicious. Try the Pumpkin cheesecake & you’ll think it ’s Thanksgiving again. Highly reccomendedMore infoTisha'sPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Cape May•4.8
