Located in the original Caffey’s Inlet Life Saving Station No. 5, the Lifesaving Station is Sanderling’s casual, three-meal-a-day restaurant celebrating southern coastal cuisine. Beautifully decorated for the holidays, Becca was packed with holiday diners. I had the she crab soup, which was the best I ever had, I also had the fall harvest salad with beets, kale, spiced pistachios and goat cheese. Both were delicious. My fellow diners all had the smoked Turkey club, also very good although the toasted bread made it difficult to eat. Service was a bit slow but perhaps they didn’t have enough help or it could been our server who was not very forthcoming. All in all a great experience and will certainly dine there again!

Everything was delicious! Salmon sashimi, firecracker cauliflower, jumbo scallops, ribeye, green tea tiramisu & a chocolate martini. I'd 1000% recommend. The scallops were like butter!

The fish fry was perfect. Light breadcrumbs on a wonderful flounder. Very light not heavy. Seafood chowder was very delicious. My husband had the hamburger and french fries. And that sounds simple but somehow Village table and Tavern waste able to put a great twist on that. The french fries were to die for. Would love to know their seasoning. All in all a truly wonderful meal. Our server was perfect and knew just the right times to approach the table

As usual, Metropolis was great. The food is imaginative and delicious and the cocktails are above and beyond. We returned the next night just for a nightcap.
