Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy. Celebrated my wife’s birthday here! Overall ambiance was exellent. The food was amazing! The staff was wonderful! The f&b staff who attended to us was very professional and served us with a smile. The wild mushroom Tagliatelle was the best I’ve ever had. The Salmon was cooked to perfection too! The live band outside was a bonus. Such a lovely experience spending birthdays here. Did not disappoint at any thing we are satisfied just like last year but this year’s menu was far more better than the previous one. Portion was good. We found the mouth watering calamari in paignton that we had last year on the sister’s hotel next door so we are very happy.
