- TTaffyNew Mexico •7 reviews5.0Dined todayWe returned for a second visit this holiday season; it was wonderful. Got adventurous and had the creamed corn. I noticed my daughters snuck more than an initial half teaspoon taste. It was very, very good. Not watery creamy. This had a nice texture. Try it! The prime rib was exceptional. I had the smaller portion. One daughter had the thinner slices. One daughter had the regular cut. All were sumptuous! Had a baked potato instead of the mashed. It was yummy. We ordered an apple crisp to share between the three of us. It was delicious with a nice amount of apple slices hidden under the topping and surrounded by the usual warm spices. Our server was great! She was friendly, attentive but didn’t hover. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! I may not be back for a while. Palo Alto daughter is moving to Duarte. CA this summer. If she needs help moving, we’ll have to do a farewell visit at House of Prime Rib. Again, thank you!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
- RRuthVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •159 reviews4.0Dined todayThe atmosphere of this place is lovely. They really spent the money and some thought on the decor, lighting, etc. My only design concern is that when you dine here at night, the combination of the low lighting and the tiny, dark grey font on a beige background menu makes reading the menu difficult. The food is all top notch, and though the prices are a bit high, they are not that different than all the other fine dining establishments throughout the city. Our service was iffy. There were long lags between people checking in on us and we wanted an additional drink and to add to an order during those lags. And this was not just due to the fact that they were busy. Our waiter was chatting with a co-worker for much of the time we were hoping someone might ask us if we wanted dessert. We eventually flagged someone down, but it's preferable that we don't have to do so. I've been here other times when the service was fine, so this may be a one-time thing.More infoLa ConnessaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Mission Bay / South Beach•4.7
- MMichelleSan Francisco Bay Area •54 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI’ve been coming to Miller and Lux since it’s opening and, consistently, the service does not disappoint, the food is memorable, and all conveniently located within walking distance of home and work. While I was seated on time, my guest anticipated arriving late, and the welcome and ease of dining was paramount. Thank you to all staff!More infoMiller & LuxPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Mission Bay / South Beach•4.7
- JJasonSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Palm Court at RH was an experience. I came here for an anniversary dinner and the ambiance was like eating at a rich friends house. Like bitcoin rich. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door and brought to this magnificent and elegant dining room. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the property and experience guest usually seek. Since it was our first time there we were shy, but she advised us to just grab a drink and explore the building like a museum. Each floor was like a page from a magazine. I loved seeing my girlfriend's face as every corner we turned she gained inspiration. On to dinner, we started with the mini Lobster/Caviar appetizer and for the main we had the Branzino and Wagyu Ribeye along with Baked Sweet Potatoes and some veg. Each dish tasted great. The fish was delicate and flaky and was cooked to perfection. A squeeze of fresh lemon really enhanced the sweetness of the fish. The steak was rich and tender. It had a nice char on the outside and it was our favorite dish of the night. Also don't sleep on the sides. The baked sweet potato was awesome. The marshmallow/butter cream was sweet and savory, I would get this unique side every time. For dessert we had the chocolate chip cookies and creme brulee. Both were executed very well. 10/10 experience and I can see myself coming back for their brunch.More infoThe Palm Court at RH San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Potrero Hill / Dogpatch•4.8
- DDominicSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI could write whole books about how much I love the pizza (because it's utterly sensational), but I really love how accessible and low key this restaurant is while still giving you the incredible flavors that Che Fico's locations consistently deliver. Ordering with QR code is a breeze and everything comes out super quick, but servers are still available & very friendly. Really love meeting friends here before/during a Warriors game or on a nice clear evening to share a pie with a view of the bridge, it's just too easy not to!More infoChe Fico Pizzeria - Chase CenterPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• SOMA•4.5
