Nestled inside the famous Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club is the Black Isles newest restaurant. Opening it's doors in November 2024. Cove Restaurant offers a very relaxed touch of class dining experience with breath-taking views to enjoy whilst you sit and enjoy your meal. Cove kitchen is lead by Craig Douglas who has trained in some of the top restaurants in the world from Tom Kitchins, Sydney Opera House to Ness walk hotel where he was Executive chef for nearly 4 years gaining its five star status for food. Our menus are carefully designed to ensure we are using locally sourced ingredients. Our food philosophy is classic dishes that everybody knows and loves however prepared with a lot of love and executed in a modern way. We offer a Light Bite menu / Clubhouse Lounge menu / Afternoon Tea / A La Carte (Friday's & Saturday's from 5pm - 9pm) (Sunday Lunch menu from 12pm - 5pm).     Great place! Went there with my 2 kids, 2&7, and my wife. The staff were really friendly with the children- and us. Food was fantastic, the burgers were delicious…as were the chicken strips, loaded fries and ask the other sides were couldn’t resist! Nice selection of beers too. Again, can’t reiterate how friendly and helpful the staff were. Will go again…maybe tomorrow.

    Server very helpful (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) but not in your face over the top. Food lovely and served piping hot. Absolutely zero rush to vacate our table. Haven’t been to 27 in several years but will definitely be back again.

    Our third trip to this new restaurant and delighted as always. Came to try the Christmas menu this time and food was perfect again. Excellent service from the young waitress from start to finish. Couldn’t fault a thing. We will be back for the Hogmanay tasting menu - can’t wait.
