- JJuliaGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis restaurant & bar is probably the most upscale in Arlington without any “stuffy” feeling/vibe. Darker lighting (with small table lights to see menu) makes for a nice ambience. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner. My favs are the chicken sausage flatbread, Bourbon steak tips, Bolognese, beet salad. The burger beef is high quality and cooked perfectly but tends to lack flavor (tried twice); a simple touch of salt and pepper would make it tastier. Some Thursdays they have live jazz. Cocktails are made well. Service has always been super — attentive and friendly. Will continue to go back a couple times a month.More infoTryst RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Arlington•4.6

- MMargaretGreater Boston •39 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy friend and I had a delicious dining experience. We shared the roasted golden beet salad, which is always phenomenal. Her entree was the shrimp and grits, and after living in VA and visiting southern US cities, she said the Burlington, MA Seasons 52 made some of the best. I ordered the gnocchi, which I have considered ordering over the many times I’ve dined here and finally did. It was delectable. I scraped the bowl clean. The burst of fresh tomatoes and basil combined with the pillowy and slightly cheesy gnocchi were perfect. We finished our meal with very good cappuccino and just right mini desserts. Thanks to our great server, who was very efficient and personable.More infoSeasons 52 - BurlingtonPrice: Expensive• American• Burlington•4.8

It was a quiet start to the day so we sat at the bar and Izza could not have provided any better service. We were not rushed and when things changed she let us know. Being new we decided to take our time and try a bit of a few things starting with a white wine. They have a nice selection and priced well. We shared the Arancini for a starter. Having Cacio e Pepe inside was a nice choice, but the lovely crusty outside really set this starter apart (from the same dish at other places). We next chose a red wine to go with our dinners. We had a general selection and were going to ask for assistance as they have an excellent selection of Borolo's but while we waited for Kelly to assist notice something different (that's one of the good (and bad) things of Italian wines, there are so many grapes); Mastroberardine. Kelly explained that was the area the owners are from, and that sold us. It was a lovely wine to go with my Bolognese and Julie's Genovese Tagliatelle. The Bolo was a little different with a bit less meat and a bit more tomato than I think of true Italian Bolognese, but it was delicious (and I will have it again). Julies Genovese was exquisite, definitely a must try. Winding down we decided to spilt a dessert, the ricotta pie was excellent. We try new places mainly based on the food and wine but here as most of our favorite places, the people truly shined Izza and Kelly made our meal special and ensured we'll be back. Thank you both.
