A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Thank you :)

Piccola Cucina Osteria it's our gem in the heart of SoHo. The Chef and owner Philip Guardione opened in January 2013 to bring in the city the real taste of Sicily. Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, all in a typical Italian restaurant setting. It is matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy, which is one of the keys to the success of the restaurant. Fully renovated in 2021 the location looks warm and cozy. My wife and I always travel for Christmas and we love Italian dining. We do our best to find the most authentic, charming places we can. Typically these are going to be the places that seat 50 people and you may not think about going in. We’ve ate at multiple spots in Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Columbus, Cincinnati, Charleston, Alexandria… this is our new favorite! My goodness is was amazing! The staff was on top of it and soooo friendly. Our waiter, Gabriel was extraordinary! We legit felt like we were in Sicily. If you make one reservation in New York, make it here.

Food was great. Made the mistake to not look further into the restaurant, it is definitely a place intended to go with a group as the portions are a healthy size so I took plenty home (which is a good thing). Great service, everyone is nice. The basement was nice and can foresee myself returning with at least another person.
