Restaurants near Clark Island State Park

We went for the special New Years brunch and had the best breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious and innovative. Will be dreaming about those gravy and biscuits 🤤 Ambiance was on point as always, not too loud but still felt busy and happening. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Decor is beautiful. Just such a lovely space and experience! Fingers crossed for more brunch in the future!

We have dined at Carnal many times and we never leave disappointed in the food quality or the service. On rare occasions when restaurants are a bit slow everywhere, Carnal can be under staffed and service is understandably slow. But even then the service is always friendly and the food is delicious. As the menu changes periodically, to keep it fresh and fun, we can always find new things to keep our experience fresh. Based on previous visits we knew the pasta and the steak was good so we ordered that again. The half chicken was new to us so we decided to give that a try. We were surprised by how delicious it was.

We've dined at Estelle several times and the food continues to be excellent. Our 6 person table sampled all of the entrees, two of the salads and two of the sides. Everyone like everything! Cocktails are also excellent and the ambiance is warm and sophisticated. The only reason Estelle doesn't get 5 stars is because I'm a wine lover and their wine list is too limited and not as good as their food.

It was better than we could have imagined. From the specialty cocktails to the Coho salmon and halibut to a delicious pistachio cheesecake, at a cozy table for two by the fireplace, it was a perfect date night.

The food was good. I would recommend the scallops And the salmon dip. Only problems with food were that the smaller pieces of bread that came with the salmon dip would break having had to much dip on it and the lemon was VERY sour, the most sour lemon I have ever had. But otherwise both of us loved our food and the waitress was great even though the kitchen was a little loud. If anyone we know comes to Bellingham we will recommend this place to them and come back if we can!
