Restaurants near Coedty Reservoir

Went for Birthday Meal with wife and son . Previously booked. We felt welcomed and warmly expected. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The service was good humoured, polite and informative. The food was splendid particularly recommending the crab claw linguini, the twice baked soufflé and crab rarebit. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

Beautiful lunch. Very much enjoyed from start to finish. Wonderful food with perfect wine paring. Fantastic service; knowledgeable and friendly.

Food was exceptional, compliments to the chef. The waiter that served us had only been there for a week, but treated our family very well, especially as my son asked him a lot of questions. The only let down was how we received at the reception, with the lady insisting I could not have possibly booked online as online bookings were closed , even though I had my confirmation. In future, as the reception is the first port of call we advise that outside guests are received much better and not to be made to feel that we are going back to the 1960’s were discrimination was very prominent!

Cosy comfortable,very welcoming, home from home, an amazing day beautiful fresh food, plenty of gravy ! Enjoyed by everyone one of us , will definitely book for next year,

We loved our Sunday lunch at Next Door - fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend. Our only point to make is that we were the only customers - Sunday afternoon, week before Christmas. It's a little out of the way from the main high street which could explain it. Apparently it is busy in the summer. This is a great find!!! Will hopefully be back soon.
