- TToddTahoe / Reno Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIt was a beautiful day at Lake Tahoe. My guests hot dishes got cool because they were out on the Pier taking photos for too long. The Shrimp Lobster Bisque was delicious. The Chef graciously allowed us to Order a dinner item if we agreed to substitute a side dish as the Risotto was not prepped for lunch. All in all a fun half day excursion. Alternative: Try the “Water Bar” at the Sparks, NV Marina as the owners are the same, the menu is 80% identical and a few dollars less per item.More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.6
- LLarrySacramento / Sacramento Valley •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe service was excellent. The staff made sure we were taken care of and offered very good suggestions. The food we had was very good. The Market Table and Brazilian sides (Like a salad bar but with so much more) gave us many fresh options to go with our meal. The only down side is the structure of the menu. They offer a Full Churrasco (unlimited table side carving of various meats) and a Single Churrasco Cut (unlimited table side carving of only one meat). Being a person of advancing age I can't eat as much as I used to, and couldn't take advantage of the Full Churrasco ($71). I opted for the Single Churrasco ($39). I would have like to have a sampler of the meat selection so I could have made a more informed decision regarding the single meat selection, or be given a single serving - rather than an unlimited serving - of the various meats. My wife had the salmon with chimichurri and she loved it.More infoFogo de Chao - RosevillePrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Roseville•4.3
- SshaneSacramento / Sacramento Valley •2 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Jan 2025Went here for our anniversary. It was amazing, the staff was very friendly and they even gave us a little plaque for the table saying happy anniversary. They brought us out champagne and a complimentary slice of chocolate cake. Food and drinks were amazing, and you have to get the baked brie.More infoFriar Tuck's Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Nevada City•4.4
