Yana Coogee, situated a stone’s throw away from the beach on the main promenade of Coogee, is inspired by Chef Same Lane's passion for the simplicity of cooking with an open fire and the feeling of being surrounded by great food, drink and company. I do enjoyed our lunch today. Celebrating our 18th anniversary. My husband had the veal - must say I had food envy. And it was delicious!! My red emperor was great and the sides of green beans with lemon and corn puree with sheep’s yoghurt was amazing as was the sugar-loaf cabbage. The special touch of a chocolate desert to celebrate was amazing a thank you Sam!

I know this restaurant has just had a total overhaul of management and staff and what a difference. Located in the heart of Coogee Bay road is this Jem Everything is locally sourced farm to table and cooked on the open fire the $15 margaritas are to die for!
