From the minds of Adolfo Garcia (Son of a Butcher, Pearl Tavern) and long-time restaurateur, Phil Stefani, comes Broken English Taco Pub. Located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street, Broken English is steps away from Millennium Park, and in the center of the new vibrant hotel and residential area. On the name, Garcia says, “I speak English with my friends, and I often find myself mixing in Spanish words because there are some phrases that simply don’t translate to English. This happens in many other languages and cultures, but that is what makes the name ‘Broken English’ fun – it is part of our daily slang.”

Dining at Tre Dita was an exceptional experience from the time we were greeted at the hostess stand to the time we left. The timing of the service of each course was perfect! We never felt rushed and we did take our time enjoying each and every bite! All staff were great. Our server Nina was exceptional! Great knowledge of the dishes as well as the wines that complimented them. She was so genuine, nice and fun which added so much to our experience! We had the squash blossoms, blue prawns, insulate di cicoria (which was plentiful- we shared it) wild boar papperdelle pasta dish, and spaghetti ala vongole! Had a great bottle of vermentino that was featured this week. Finished with tiramisu, espresso martini and limoncello! Buonissima! Almost forgot to mention the view! Gorgeous!

We recently dined at Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval in Chicago, and it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and innovative Latin cuisine truly set it apart. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu is a delightful fusion of bold Central and South American flavors, expertly crafted with Chef Sandoval's innovative techniques. We started with the ceviche, which was fresh and bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced with sweet potato and red onion. The sweet corn empanada was a delightful surprise, with its crispy exterior and flavorful filling. The lobster roll was a highlight, with tender lobster meat complemented by a tangy aioli. The Cusco chicken was tender and juicy, with a rich, savory sauce that added depth to each bite. The potato 3 way was a creative and delicious dish that showcased the versatility of this humble ingredient. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is lively yet intimate, perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out. Overall, Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience contemporary Latin cuisine at its finest. We highly recommend making a reservation and indulging in this culinary journey.

We had an amazing time at Miru last night. It has become like our second home. Everyone is so kind and attentive from the host, to the servers and bartenders. Eddie makes the best Mojitos and we always have a great conversation. The Blue fin tuna is the best! We also love the crab maki - delicious!

Amazing views and ambience. Great lunch menu and both the burger and chicken sandwich were fantastic. Kids menu was also nice. Our server, Alex, was so professional and personable. My son met us over his lunch hour and Alex timed his food perfectly to his arrival.
