It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     Another great visit to my favorite restaurant. My family and I showed up to celebrate a birthday and it was terrific. My 7-year-old son decided this was where he wanted his dinner and it was great. He ordered what he wanted. It came fast. The chocolate cake was delicious. The service was great and the food. The rest of us had was just terrific. This is our go to spot our favorite restaurant in the area. And Mr. Pino the Owner has everyone working great as a team and we love it.We will go back again soon and we always want to say thank you to the staff.The chefs and hostesses for making our visits.There terrific thank you again

    Can't think of anything negative to say about our food, the ambience, or the service. I had raw oysters that were awesome and the halibut for an entre. PERFECT!! My wife had a chicken/crabmeat over rice dish which was also fantastic. (She made me taste it) All four of our drinks were make well. We were too full for desert but had the sense to take some home with us. It's well worth the 25 mile drive for us. We go there several times a year and HIGHLY recommend this place.
