- JJoyceNewcastle and Northumberland •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAs always - excellent venue. Front of house team to be commended - Charlotte especially personable and chatty (even contacted us to make sure we were okay when we hadn't returned from our frozen walk!!) Food beautifully cooked and presented - again as always. Highly recommended. Many many thanks to all concerned.More infoGreenhead HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Carlisle•4.8
- KKarenCumbria •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOutstanding food and service once again. We prepared ourselves with empty stomachs this time so we were able to eat more. Food is simply amazing we had the Roast Beef and the cod. Everything is cooked to absolute perfection. Sides of kale, cauliflower cheese and carrots and parsnips were delicious. We managed a sticky toffee pudding which was wow , cinder toffee shards on the top being an amazing touch. Staff so friendly and nothing a problem. Pub is just beautiful after Dan and Sarah have taken over. So lucky and glad this is our local.More infoThe Stag Inn Low CrosbyPrice: Moderate• Pub• Carlisle•5
- SsueGloucestershire/Wiltshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024Last minute booking as passing by but very glad we did. The food was amazing value for money at such high quality. Simple menu but presented wonderfully. I have had afternoon tea there previously which was equally exceptional but pleased to say the rest of menu just as good. Can’t wait to return next time in Cumbria : )More infoRickerby RetreatPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Carlisle•4.4
