We are a family owned modern Italian restaurant and bar run by the proprietor Joe Lynch and his son Ryan Lynch. The name Con Amici comes from the Italian family and friends dining ethos which translates to eating with friends where families and close friends come together to have a meal around a table whether it is at home or in a restaurant, making it a big event. Food was nice bit wish I'd gone for pancakes but that's just my fault. However my friend asked for crisp bacon but what she got was jerry and inedible but they kindly knocked off the bill. I'd definitely return.

We had such a fantastic experience at Hawksmoor last night! Service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. We took advantage of the BYOB Monday offer, which, if you're on a budget, helps lessen the blow to the wallet, as corkage is only £5 per bottle. As always though, you get what you pay for, and in this case what we got was really fantastic steak, with smoked salmon, caesar salad, and potted beef also amongst the highlights. Our server was brilliant, present and chatty without ever intruding. Same goes for the sommelier, who was really lovely. They were both great with my daughter, who is only 2, and had a lovely night also. Thanks very much for a great pre-Christmas get together!

Food was really good everyone in our party enjoyed what they had chosen. Surroundings are beautiful, have visited the Ivy before in York but the building in Liverpool that used to be a bank is absolutely beautiful.
