- LLindaGlasgow/Lanarkshire •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambience and service are always good. The soup however could have been warmer while the gluten free options were very limited. Restaurants and chefs need to be aware that gluten free does not mean vegetarian! The soup should have been served with bread but no gluten free bread was provided or offered. My friend was impressed with her non-gluten lunch.More infoThe Ivy Buchanan Street GlasgowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Glasgow•4.5
- JJamieVancouver / British Columbia •20 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was probably one of the best lunches I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I have been to an Ivy restaurant before in Windsor on my last trip to the UK but I don't remember it being quite this good. The food was extraordinary, service impeccable, and because I was by myself, I was able to observe the staff and how they operate. It was so fascinating watching such a well-oiled machine. I used to work in hospitality and it was a delight to watch. Mimi was incredible and so wonderful to chat with, she even picked up that I was Canadian, not American. The dessert was to die for as well. The whole experience really made my day. Not to mention the decor of The Ivy is just incredible. Even the bathroom was amazing. Highly recommend this chain if you are ever in UK, they have many locations to choose from. Cheers.More infoThe Ivy on the SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Old Town•4.4
- MMeganGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was good. I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was very nice but however the bun was very soggy. I understand that this may have been down to coleslaw and the pickles on the burger, the bun would have been better toasted. My mum has the salt and chilli chicken pizza, that she loved. We shared the deep fried pickles and street corn ribs, which I would highly recommend to anyone going in to try this restaurant. I order the garlic herb butter and percino fries as a side for the burger which I have had before and they were even better than I remembered. The service we received from the lovely girl that seated us and took our order from very professional, the man that took over the service of our was also very nice and polite. They were both a credit to the restaurant. We will definitely be back soonMore infoThundercat Pub & DinerPrice: Moderate• American• Glasgow•4.7
