- AalisonvipBedfordshire •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSo pleased you are back after the fire. We travelled over 100 miles to enjoy the best fish & chips & you didn’t disappoint. It was also lovely to meet Daren & listen to him talking about the history of Sole Bay. Wishing you every success in your new restaurant xMore infoSole Bay Fish CompanyPrice: Expensive• Fish• Southwold•4.8

- DDanNorfolk/Suffolk •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoMeal of the year, hands down. Started with on-point Negroni (me) + a glass of Cremant (my wife) and those seriously classy smoked cod’s roe gougéres. Starters - Carrot Vinaigrette, St Jude's Cow's Curd, Walnuts + Wild Rabbit, Partridge & Duroc Pork Terrine, Medlar Jelly, Toast - both stunning. Mains - Jacob's Ladder, Beer Onions, Black Cabbage, Polenta, Sage + Sweetbread & Bloodcake Hogget Heart Crépinette, Hispi Cabbage, Mash, Madeira Sauce. The latter undoubtedly the best offal dish I’ve ever eaten, still grinning about it now. Dessert - shared an Apple Tarte Fine, Cinnamon Cream + a coupe of amazing Negroni jellies - seriously like a Negroni Tangfastics 😊. All accompanied by a lovely bottle of Reuilly. To find food this good in the perfect country pub setting is an absolute joy. So grateful to have this place within walking distance of our front door. - WwendyCambridge/Cambridgeshire •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024Fabulous food. The scallops and halibut were particularly good. Fresh, juicy, sweet and perfectly cooked with extra sauce as requested. With a few tweaks in his approach, the new executive chef has taken the menu to another level This restaurant has a lovely warm ambience. Great professional service and staff brimming with enthusiasm and details on the dishes and drinks. The whole experience is delivered so well by George and the teamMore infoThe SuffolkPrice: Very Expensive• British• Aldeburgh•4.6
