We love going to Fava. The food, the ambience, the service are all great. We love the gyro wraps and portions, they are so fulfilling (we have tried the chicken and falafel ones). In desserts, the traditional orange cake (someone who does not like the desserts too sweet might not like this) and baklava are straight from the dessert heaven. The vibe is perfect for a date and a much vibrant place. The staff is sweet too and food is rightly priced (say 20 a person). Absolutely recommend this one!

I had brunch at the Huxley to celebrate one of my friends’ pregnancy and the staff made it so special. They went above and beyond and really made our day. The food was great value for money, the staff were very attentive and the interior is lovely. Thank you so much!!

Confession - Im not a huge steak fan but have tolerated more than a few steak restaurants in my life, since my husband loves it. This was simply the best steak meal I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, divine sauce (red wine and blue cheese, fries and green beans that were the best I’ve ever tasted. I couldn’t fault a thing.. Staff were great, amusing and we felt ……..honest about the steak cuts. Not too much information - just enough to feel you were making an informed choice,. And the choosing of you steak knife was novel. Not cheap but a lovely place for a special meal, quality ingredients, expertly prepared. Next time my husband wants a steak restaurant, I know where I’ll be wanting to go. Thank you Kyloe!

Walked in, 2 of us. given table immediately. Ordered a pizza each from the menu, and had our food within 5 minutes thanks to the massive pizza oven. You can see them making your food right there but not in an obtrusive way. Drinks were delivered immediately. Attentive service but not “in your face” gratuity of 10% added to bill which is great so I dont have to remember to add it! Great ambience and convenient location. Definite must!

Such a lovely meal with speedy service. We had an excellent waitress called Christine with great personality who got us anything we wanted.Our food was delicious from pizza to pasta to chicken and chips! A lovely meal in Edinburgh.
