We absolutely loved your afternoon tea. The sandwiches were delicious! My favorite was the beet and goat cheese. I am not a truffle lover, but I did enjoy the egg salad sandwich with a hint of truffles. It was not overdone, it was just right. I loved the scones, especially with the fig jam and clotted cream. I prefer savory over sweets at an afternoon tea. I find many places do far too many sweets. You had just enough to complement the sandwiches. If I may, I would like to suggest the addition of Darjeeling to your teas. They do call it the King of Teas, after all. It is very different from English Breakfast and Earl Grey, both of which are blended teas. I feel Darjeeling would really complement your lovely afternoon tea. Love this place! There’s nothing in Fairfield nearly as vibe-y and cool with great food and drinks at affordable prices. Here’s what I loved: hand-crafted cocktails (I had the Tropic Morning News), my prime rib plate for $25, welcoming unpretentious service, and the vinyl playing in the background. Don’t sleep on this spot for your next time out.

Love this restaurant. Bartender was helpful and knowledgeable when I was trying to choose a special drink. The menu is clearly marked for gluten free items which makes ordering my meal easy to choose and comforting to know that I won’t be sick afterwards. The staff is friendly and pleasant. 💙

Went to celebrate a birthday. Everything had a good time and the food was great. Not expensive.

My wife and I had a lovely evening dining at South Bay for the first time. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the place has a fun vibe; upscale enough for a special occasion (there was a birthday, a first date, and parents visiting their college student around us) but relaxed enough for a spontaneous night out like ours was. We will definitely be back, with friends!
