Restaurants near First Missouri State Capitol Historic Site

Food was amazing, only way to make it better is to give a few more Ravioli with the appetizer, they give you a solid amount but they were so good I needed more. Filet was well above a standard restaurant steak, nicely seared. Truffle fries were also very satisfying.

Service was fantastic! The food was delicious with plentiful proportions and great presentation! Our reservation was ready when we arrived and all requests had been granted! Will definitely be returning soon!

A work group of women enjoyed a lovely holiday luncheon! French onion soup, wedge salads, burger, fries, chicken sandwiches, Brussels and deviled eggs all delicious as were the festive holiday cocktails. They couldn’t be more accomodating as some if our group was running late! We likely added to the noise level as we thoroughly had a lovely, lively time! Thanks, Chip.

I came here on a Tuesday night with some friends. We sat on the third floor, which was full, but not packed. It was quiet when I got there at 6 PM and I was concerned we would be too loud for the room. But the volume of the room matched our volume by the time we left. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. They came by when we needed them, but weren’t constantly there. And the food here is excellent; I don’t think you can order a bad dish here. We started our drinks with a wine flight, and really liked the red blend best. It was an excellent dinner overall.

We didn't stay they had a buffet for Mother's Day and it didn't say that on the open table. The buffet was from 11-3 and my reservations were for 3 o’clock so they were closing when we got there and the buffet looked trash.
